Steve FergusonSteve Ferguson's fascination with the music business began when he saw The Beatles' film A Hard Day's Night at the age of 12. He thought working in the business would be fun and decided to see if he could succeed in that field. Mission accomplished.
After graduating from Seton Hall University with a degree in communications (cum laude in fact thank you very much), Steve landed a position as contract manager and assistant at the infamous FBI agency, run by the late Ian Copeland. Steve joined Little Big Man in 2001 after more than ten years as an agent with FBI, ICM, The Agency Group and ARTISTdirect. "You can say I got my foot in the door and never left the party."
A native New Yorker, Steve found that the seminal UK punk and new wave bands of the late 70's / early 80's, such as The Clash, The Police and The Jam were what made him drive towards his current occupation. Of his vast record/CD collection, he also cites The Beatles (duh), The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Smiths, R.E.M. and U2 as music he can never part with.
When Steve is not booking tours for the likes of Doves, The Magic Numbers, The Kooks, Klaxons and The Pipettes among others, he can be probably be found trying to catch up on sleep; in between the wife, the kids, the cats and the Blackberry all going off simultaneously.
