ROB WETSTONEAs Vice President of Label Relations, Rob Wetstone is responsible for overseeing eMusic's existing relationships with its independent labels, a rich roster of more than 8,500 that include the likes of Sun Records, Concord Music Group, Naxos and Beggars Group. Reporting to eMusic President and CEO David Pakman, Wetstone and his staff work closely with labels to help increase revenues, strategize on breaking new artists and ensure that eMusic customers always have access to significant catalogue recordings and the latest, most innovative new music.
Wetstone comes to eMusic with more than fifteen years experience in the music industry. Most recently, he served as Director of Booking and Publishing at the boutique artist management firm Original Artists, where he worked with such luminary artists as Bobby McFerrin and Ornette Coleman. He has managed numerous projects and tours in the classical and jazz worlds and has developed an extensive network of orchestras, festivals, and artist agencies worldwide.
Wetstone spent four years as a booking agent at ICM Artists (the performing arts and classical division of International Creative Management) and previously has worked for Columbia Artists Management, the Boston Symphony, and RCA Records. He earned a B.A. degree at Harvard University and has an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.
